-It seems as though Pittsburgh faired well against the #2 power in the east(dun dun dun)Capitals. Ove continued his dominance with two goals and an assist, also taking number 1 in the three star selection. It seems as though having two of the best players in the league cannot compete against a dominant capitals team( and their terrible goalies). I'm pretty sure my grandmother could play goalie for the capitals and would still win.
*update on Malkin: #20 overall for total ice time. Of the top 30 players, 27 are defencemen. To his defense, pitt is the has the second highest penalty opps, but sadly is ranked #15 in power play goals. I could easily compare this to the CAPS stats, but will save it for another time.

And if you hadn't noticed, by the middle of the third, the Pens were playing with 4 defensemen (out of 6). That caught up to them, as evidenced by the fact it was a tie game until late. And we're still waiting on the following to get healthy:
Talbot, Fleury, Crosby*, Dupuis*, Fedotenko*, Kennedy, Zigomanis*, Gonchar*, Whitney, Gill, Scuderi*, Letang*
* means they're currently injured. In case you were wondering, that means over half the starters for the team are playing hurt or out with an injury. And this isn't weak Semin "sprained groin" crap. This is "I need nails in my kneecap" injury.
Win a single playoff series and then let me know how your team is. Joke Theodore will crumble in the playoffs. Bank it.
On crosby's injury, he said afterward he didn't think the injury was too bad. What a little bitch.
Would someone in Pittsburgh please tell Rob Scuderi that he is not a goalie. If you do not have a facemask on, you probably should not try and stop pucks with your face. Thank god it was not Ove's shot, or Scuderi's face would have probably imploded.
